dissappointed

i made these atcs for my ebay group, and to say im disappointed is putting it mildly, the theme was vintage, i bought the digi image and love the image, i coloured them with coffee for the aged effect, covered them in pva glue for the shine and to make stiffer, used hair grips cut down (hard work)  had to send them off as i ran out of time to make others, im embarrased to show these but maybe it will be a lesson to me not to try something new for a swap or challenge. because they are in their cello bags you cant see the  curl on the wings. wont be trying the vintage look again i dont think, especially with coffee, dont drink it and i cant stand the smell. did try with old teabags but got a lighter effect.

after browsing galleries and request for help quickly as i found out i had less than 24 hours to create it. this is what i came up with, and i learnt a new idea to use ribbon on the nellies, thanks to a lovely trimmy members gallery where i saw the idea in the first place, (thanks jennie) i lurve the  effect, in fact a group im in has also liked the idea so much they are going to try it.

card made for freind

emma requested a card for a school freind. last minute as per usual. thinking oh i will do a basic simple one, she goes "oh shes into horses".    so between us we found an image we both liked, then i was left to it. First lot of images came out in black and white so not sure what im going to do with those, might make up and see if collegue at work is interested in them lol. Anyways did this simple layer and mat card using handmade paper for the base and the obligatry ribbon at the side, have to say the ribbon was tightened this morning once glue had dried as i had to use pritt stick because i couldnt find the dst. greeting added by emma this morning as well. Little minx told her freind i only helped a little.
