well after a very long absence to blogging and crafting for that matter im back lol.
i recently purchased a sillhouette cameo and have created my first project.
it wasnt totally what i had in mind but thats what happens when i do anything.
i can see im going to have fun with this machine and hope i dont break it in my quest for learning its limits.
anyway, my granddaughter was 5 yesterday and here is the first project made using the cameo.

the two butterflies i intended in doing in different coloured card but due to bad light and time this didn't happen, after a nights sleep and mulling over what to do i spied my embossing powders so there was my solution, i inked the top layers in white ink then added embossing powder, one turquoise glitter and the other pink candy (i think). overall I'm pleased with the effect even if the outcome is nothing like the big plan

Ellie at 5 wasn't interested in the work that had gone into it, she took it out of the envelope and put it on the hearth, her other nan picked it up read the inside to her then put it on the mantle, ellie just went right back to her party bless her.
